Yes, these are beautiful stickers that are difficult to tear off.

When they first came out I had to make sure I bought the stickers. I came back and looked at the reviews and realized these are stickers but the backing is just hard to remove. In my opinion you definitely need nails as they are difficult to separate. I agree because they are beautiful and I love how my bookmarks turned out. Will definitely be ordering more in the future.
