good lighting, USB port is weak point
These headlights work well, build quality is solid except for USB. If you find your lights not turning on, it may be because the USB port is not making proper contact. The surest way to fix this is to cut off the USB connectors and replace them with something less finicky. It doesn't really need USB, it's just a pair of red and black power cables. I just plugged them right together and haven't had any problems since. If you don't know how to use a soldering iron, you can also try bending the contact springs in the USB connector to improve the grip.
