I've been looking for an affordable dispenser for our 5 gallon water jugs for far too long. I was concerned about the sanitation which got rid of most of the shards as water came in contact with the outer neck of the bottle. I also wanted to minimize water-plastic contact and ensure all plastics are BPA-free, eliminating many electronic/automatic dispensers. I didn't want to spend a fortune either, which eliminated free standing heater/coolers. At first glance I was a little wary of this product, thinking it might be unstable or cheap, but it isn't. In fact, once the 5 gallon bottle is mounted on the stand, the device feels very stable and durable. The metal frame is of high quality and has no noticeable deflection or play. The dispenser nozzle is easy to use, doesn't leak or spill, and is the perfect height to dispense almost anything we need, like bottles, cups, a kettle, and a watering can. It can be a little tricky to put a full bottle in the stand while the stand is high on the counter. I found it easiest to place the stand on the floor, load the bottle, and then lift it up by holding onto the bottle handle and stand frame.
