I guess I was hoping for something like the one we use on our phones or tablets as it was made for our kids Chromebook at school. It's ok in kid's backpack when they get back to school. I think the heavy plastic used will withstand the impact in a backpack or bag. Do I find it strong enough to survive a table or chair fall? It's a 50/50 question on an excellent carpet, maybe a hard floor like school. This is doubtful. The two-piece plastic body feels solid and attaches easily. But knowing how picky kids are about things, I wouldn't pin all my hopes on this business, but it's better than nothing. I say make sure you get insurance on the device. This will be your best choice.
