I bought this camera to replace a Kodak that had 4+ years skiing and surfing. I received this camera and was initially satisfied. The footage was clear and the video was great. One morning I went to charge the battery and after about an hour I read "Low battery" on the browser screen. When I sent it back, Nikon said it was due to "customer abuse". The repair of the camera would have cost more than the original purchase price of the camera. Luckily, I purchased an extended warranty through Square Trade. They took the camera back and refunded my original purchase price. Then I bought a Kodak EasyShare 14mgp 8X. Time will tell, but the Kodak has outlasted the Nikon Coolpix. Vulnerability in the charging system. Don't waste your money on this camera.
