Took about 30 minutes to assemble and looks great. However, the part that raises and lowers the altitude doesn't work. It also works without. My son sat on it for almost a whole week, and the apartment, crammed with Ikea furniture, was late. It was the only piece of furniture he had. It was comfortable enough to watch TV, eat, use as a desk chair for work, etc. The exterior matches its other decor perfectly. We are glad we bought it.
