I was given this bib to put on my 3 month old daughter while breastfeeding as all her clothes were starting to smell of milk due to overcrowding. Children's clothes are usually dry. However, since these bibs do not have a plastic backing, moisture can penetrate the clothing. I'm glad this one has a sew-on closure and not velcro. I got Velcro bibs for my firstborn. She used to cry when her hair got tangled in the Velcro. She also loved the cute design!
