i have worn skechers most of my life with no problems. I wanted solid color work shoes so naturally Skechers was my first choice. I have wide feet, I never had an arch, even as a kid. It's not about the weight, it's about one of them. I received these shoes and they were not comfortable at all, it felt like I was walking straight on cement. The last thing I wanted was to be on my feet all day, squatting, bending over, running back and forth on the hard floor. Within a month of wearing these things, I developed bursitis on my right leg that looks like it will need surgery. I've never had any problems with my feet, even though they haven't had an arch all my life. I've always been active and have never had a problem with leg fatigue or bursitis. Now my right leg hurts constantly. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone who has to be on their feet all day or has foot problems, if you want wide shoes you should definitely look for another brand. Skechers aren't what they used to be. I ended up buying some NBs that I've never tried before and they work great, but my bursitis still kills me every day.
