The rubber ear pads must be washed before use. They are not hygienic
I gave it 4 stars because I learned the hard way that the rubber earplugs that go in my ear keep me from getting germs from the earplug inflate. . So wash her. Wash everything that comes in contact with your skin or you'll end up putting an antibiotic ointment on your ear. I don't know where these rubber bands were stored, but they are unsanitary even if they don't look dirty. Be careful and wash them before putting them in your ears.
