So my wife used my old socks as coffee filters - wait, I have to explain that phrase. In these times, the "Rones" have to get by sometimes. For my wife, her need for morning caffeine and her lack of available filters required some ingenuity. She grabbed one of my old Puma socks and wrapped it around the coffee maker's tank, poured coffee over it and let it rip, ui. - I said, entering the kitchen and seeing this device that smelled of despair and possible addiction. But it got me thinking: how old are these socks? After doing some mental arithmetic and remembering the time my wife and I were together and the thought of her drinking coffee out of socks was mentally impossible, I realized that my Puma socks are almost eight years old . I should probably change these socks, I thought, although they were in great shape for the most part, except for the one sock my wife used for her morning caffeine. After 8 years there are no more holes, the gums are still largely functional. However, I ordered this package, which turned out to be almost the same as my old friends. And what do you know, they are very similar. Similar fabric and tailoring. Minor aesthetic differences, but overall they're just as good as socks that have lasted almost a decade. They are comfortable, functional and indecently durable. You can't go wrong with these socks, they are great socks and when the apocalypse happens there's a good chance you can use them to filter your drinking water. Or at least coffee.
