My late husband was 100% Irish so I used to give him a small gift every St Patrick's Day. This year I didn't know what to get my daughter. She and her boyfriend have a small apartment, and with three cats, there is no space for things in it. This mug is BEAUTIFUL. It is beautifully designed and painted. It looks gentle but more substantial. My daughter loves it and loves the Claddagh design. We all have Claddagh rings. I bought her friend a mug from the same company and he has an Irish harp. The shape is different, but well-made, thoughtful and colorful. I cannot stress enough that this mug is visually stunning to me. I definitely recommend it.
