I bought these to go under skirts and dresses on my cruise and I'm SO glad I bought a couple to bring along. the material is thin and breathable and SOOOO soft! Lace trim makes it feminine and attractive in case of a "skirt peak" type incident. It was breezy on the ship and it happened a couple times but these shorts saved my modesty. Totally removed the fear of flashing a little leg with these. I am short so they fit me pretty long. The lace sat just above knee. I'm not one to wear short skirts (my shortest skirt was midi length or mid calf) so the length did not bother me. The fabric is SOOOOOO soft! and thin enough to be very breathable. If I had known they would be this comfy, I probably would have purchased several more and used as long leg briefs, skipping the undies underneath.
