I recently got into sim racing with a steering wheel (in the late 90's I grew up on a gran turismo with a controller) so I decided to buying a basic cockpit I did a lot of research and YouTube and felt a GT Lite had what I needed. - I chose the Gt lite over other hardcore cabs for its versatility and easy storage. - I chose Gt lite over Fgt because I don't need an additional F1 item with a higher price. - I went with the Gt Lite over the gaming seat issue as the leg paddles are bolt on rather than strapped to the gaming seat and with the option to increase the height if needed for the GT Lite with no DIY. gt comes with a shifter mount compared to buying an additional gaming seat in another country. After 2 hours of sitting it's definitely much better than using a desk mounted Ikea steering wheel but here are some inconveniences I encountered: - Circled in red this part is touching my head/scalp which gives a strange feeling , then I have to sit lower to prevent this. - green arrow because I've been sitting lower, my back hurts for a long period of time, it's not ergonomically designed due to jam ventilation, I've just bought a set of neck and back braces, see if it helps. - Circled in orange, the GT version removed the head adjuster from the FGT version, it's now a screw which is a thumbs down imo. - circled in blue, you have to use the same simple slide pin mechanism as the front, I just left it on the highest level and will never touch it again as it's already pretty low anyway. - Circled in yellow, these parts need more cushioning, my lower leg can feel the bar inside. I'm not sure if the space I got is "revised". or not, because the rear seat bolt bracket and derailleur bracket were very difficult to install, I had to use a rubber mallet and hammer them in a few times (also with a lot of force). I think only Dwayne Johnson and John Cena can install it with their bare hands๐ . But being taut gives it improved stiffness and stability, my shifter plate doesn't wobble or rattle like some of the YouTube videos mentioned, it's very tight as if used. I haven't set my ffb to max to see how well the cabin can hold up but so far in my use it's very sturdy, good materials. So, in conclusion, while it needs some tweaking on its own, I definitely don't want my review to put off future potential buyers as everyone's comfort zone is different. . This is a good seat and I hope Next Level Racing can improve this product even further.
