When this pillow comes out of the vacuum packaging it looks completely deflated. But if you leave it alone for a day, it will immediately fluff up. Also, some people complain that it is not filled enough and therefore their pillows are not full enough. The pillow is not a problem; There's an interior design industry secret that's driving this. If you have an 18x18 pillowcase, you will need to order a 20x20 pillowcase to make it as fluffy as you like. It's silly that they do it this way, but it is what it is. I made a 16x16 pillowcase and put this 18x18 pillow inside and it's just perfect (see photo). It would be nice if the description mentioned that you should buy a pillowcase one size larger to reduce consumer confusion. Some down/feather pillows smell like goose or something. There might have been a slight odor when I first took it out of the box, but it went away after a day.
