I have to admit when they arrived a few days early I was happy until I picked up the box and heard the glass clink. NEVER is not a good sign. The packaging was terrible. and one of the small bowls had come loose from the cardboard and was bouncing around on all the other open edges of the bowls. I am happy to report that none of them were broken, chipped or cracked. Well - who knows how long they rattled against each other. but they're from outside the United States, so I guess they got lost for a while because there wasn't a shiny shipping box. That tells me these are incredibly durable little bowls! You are clear. At first glance, they could comfortably hold about 3 tablespoons of anything without overflowing the bowl. As sturdy as these little gems seem, I would advise them to package their work MUCH better, especially internationally! I'm very happy with them so far, but never hesitate to update my reviews when new information seems useful.
