This is a really good handbag. Slightly larger than expected and not as bright, but there is plenty of room at the opening. I effortlessly opened the purse a good six inches. I can stack my fists on top of each other and stick them in. I also like the wrist purse strap if you don't want to carry the whole bag around. The purse also has a zip pocket for loose change. I noticed that most wallets don't have that anymore. The chain (shoulder strap) isn't detachable, but since it barely dangles from the bottom of the wallet, it looks nice if you decide to wear it on the straps. You will not have a long chain. When you wear it on your shoulder, it hangs down the middle and tucks under your arm. All in all a very attractive bag. Looks more expensive than it is. Very well done. A little stiff but I like that it holds its shape and doesn't fall off. This wallet is big enough for a travel bag for most people. I'll try to post a photo of the opening later. I didn't loosen the back either. I read some reviews that the hole was too small so maybe they changed the design. Now it opens effortlessly to the width of the floor.
