I wouldn't buy them again because I don't believe in buying things that you know will need replacing in a few years. The steel is thinner (20g) than a pony of the same size (18-19g) and significantly less stiff. The clip's body feels like it will curl in my hand when fully compressed. The nib is chrome plated and about the same size as Pony's, but Pony's nib is hardened and again significantly stronger. It was a bit of a gamble to see if they were good enough. They're so-so and will do in a pinch, but I always use much higher quality spring clips as standard.
