but for this product I really had to. I will try to be brief. I have suffered from perioral dermatitis for several years. I had normal mild acne in middle and high school. I was always going to dermatologists and used everything from topical ointments, retinoids, steroids to many topical antibiotics. Mainly due to the long and constant use of oral antibiotics and steroids, my skin became dependent on these products. I swore to myself that after the wedding I would have to get rid of all these products. I didn't want to live completely dependent on these things. It was EXTREMELY difficult for me to give it all up and go the "natural" route because as soon as something got on my skin I would start to worry. I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. Again, I'm among those people who have used a million different products on their skin. This product has worked wonders for me. I had to be patient. To be honest, my skin wasn't just getting clearer by the day. I've been using it very consistently every night for a little over a month now. I also just bought one of Andalous' peeling masks. And that's REALLY good too. Again, I didn't see instant perfection. But I see that every morning when I woke up I was pleased to see a slight improvement. The general complexion has improved. Perioral dermatitis is an extremely troublesome skin condition because, unlike regular acne, it is not easily treated. My skin had what looked like pimples, but it wasn't. I had very red pimples on one side of my cheek near my mouth. It looks like a rash. Here, too, I was very ashamed of my skin, as I was already very red and irritated, and the excessive use of many wrong products only made my skin worse and dried out. This product also helps with dryness. My skin was CONSTANTLY flaky and very dry. My skin is finally back to normal. I'm thinking about this product for a few more weeks and I've finally completely cleared my skin. If like me you are addicted to a dermatologist and prescription products. Seriously, giving it all up will be the hardest thing for you, but it's worth it. When I was about 15 or 16 I started seeing a dermatologist and getting prescriptions for acne/dermatitis. I'm 24 now and this is my first time ever using natural OTC products. My skin has never been better. Sorry I didn't make it as short as I intended. I just wanted to talk briefly about my skin problem.
