I hooked up 2 of these filters to the boat to filter all the incoming water. The first stage contains a sediment filter, the second stage contains a carbon block filter. Generally these work well. I had some leakage when connecting the two units together, but I think I may need to put some more teflon tape on the fittings I bought for them.
