Review on πŸͺ‘ Rustic CASATOCA Tall Dresser: 5 Fabric Drawer Storage Cabinet for Bedroom and Entryway - Sturdy Steel Frame, Wooden Front and Top, Rustic Brown and Black by Emily Myers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little unit. But! Parts marked incorrectly in assembly instructions.

I needed a set of drawers in my closet in a specific small recess or corner. These fit perfectly. The top and fronts of the drawers are made of durable cardboard. The side and back walls of the drawers are lined with burlap in the form of a soft panel covered with fabric. A little harder than cardboard. They're actually pretty strong for stacking boxes. But then I just picked it up and didn't fill the boxes yet. First impression is that the drawers are easy to open and close. The block is tight. There are screws in the legs for leveling. The metal frame is also durable. There are small metal rails, about half an inch each, for the drawers to slide and rest on. There is an x-shaped metal bar that holds the drawers in place without pulling them out. The front and the top are made of mfg wood with beautiful veneer in different options. I chose the appearance of the tree. The nubs are simply screwed in and are round, nub-like balls. Enough size to easily pull out with your fingertips. For a folding chest of drawers, it makes a very robust impression. I'll probably buy a few more in different sizes. Now! As for the build. That's easy! I'm not a spring baby and it worked great for me, except that a small child held one of the frame pieces at a 45 degree angle while I was screwing it in. Only in one place! Otherwise everything was me. Honestly I think I could have done it on my own but he wanted to help. 😊 Parts (screws, washers, handles and feet) were individually wrapped and labeled. Each part of the boxes, frames, etc. is also marked. The kit included a handy tool: an Allen wrench on one side and a Phillips screwdriver on the other. That was all it took! My only complaint was with the first few assembly steps when you screw the two dowel pieces of metal frame into the sides, the screws are marked "C" in the book. The ENTIRE metal frame, except for the "x" rod mount, is assembled using "B" screws. The "C" screws are slightly shorter and are specially designed to attach the wooden lid to the chest. They are shorter so as not to go through the whole forest. Also, the legs and screws used to attach the "x" bar to the back were not labeled or discussed in the instructions, but were in the same bag as the silver screw, strap, and rollover drywall anchor . . By assembling the frame using screws "B” rather than "C”, you can then attach the top with screws "C”, then screw on the legs and attach the stem "x” with the four remaining smaller screws. If you follow the instructions like I did, attach the bottom of the frame using C screws as directed and only B screws at the end for the rest and the wood top. The top most likely will not come down onto the frame with the B screws. Not to mention someone trying to assemble it with a drill or power tool. Then the screws go through the top! That's why I gave fewer stars in the "Easy to Assemble" category. But if someone has some common sense or building experience, building this device will be easy and well worth the time and money. Hope this helps someone! Successful organization!
