Review on 🔑 2-Pack Precision Key Chain Tweezers by Uncle Bill's Sliver Gripper by Jessica Moodley

I have owned one of these tweezers for 10 years and absolutely LOVE them. Unfortunately I lost her about 2 weeks ago. So I ordered 4 replacements (2 in a tube and 2 on a keychain). I don't understand what happened to the quality of these tweezers. Yes, it WAS 150% THE BEST tweezers ever made. What I got: First, my original pair had a metal tip (like the picture) and lettering on the tube. What I received had no tube labeling and an odd plastic top that didn't really fit or look like quality (first quality depletion warning). Second, they are MUCH thicker at the tip and offer significantly less grip. - the ability to "be exact" about what they claim. The ones I had were thin enough on the tip and sharp enough to pierce yourself, and they could pierce the surface of skin, which is what it takes to successfully dig up shrapnel. Generally they end up being a lot blunter, not as sharp as my old ones, so NOT as accurate. Don't get me wrong - overall they're still very good tweezers. Looks like the photo, small, handy. And with the keychain, I was a little worried about how it would work, but it snaps securely into place and makes them a lot more transportable, which is definitely pretty cool. But still. the quality is not what it used to be, which was very surprising; I hope I only have one bunk group or something. Very disappointed.
