Pros: This is the most ergonomic shaver I have ever used. It lies comfortably in the hand and is very light. But that doesn't mean it lacks power, no sir it cleanly and effectively trims my 4 day thick beard. First, I wet my face and hair with hot water and pat dry. - Improvements. I am the proud owner of the previous model which is essentially the same but in two versions. 1) The port where the charging cable enters has become more durable. And 2) The power button is more responsive than the old version. The T-Blade is all I need to get a clean shave in 20 minutes. . And this with regular breaks to clean the blades after shaving each quadrant; left side of face / right side of face / left side of neck / right side of neck. My old model is working perfectly after 3 years so I'm sure this new one will be just as robust. If I think about it I will give the older one to my brother who thinks other brands are better. - Speaking of. Wahl razor blades are better and sharper. I have been using Wahl razors for 2 decades now. During this time I have also used razors from 4 other well-known brands. These razors have flat blades because they are cheaper. There is a big difference in cutting ability. Watch videos online to see the difference between a stamped knife blade and a blade made from a single piece of steel. Completely different levels of quality. And you can order stainless steel blades, double foil shaving head, detailer head for more precise cuts and more by using the booklet that comes with the kit. - The mini carry case is made of thicker material than I usually get with razors. And it's not cheap vinyl. Built-in travel lock. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds and the shaver will be less likely to accidentally turn on during travel. Press and hold for 5 seconds to unlock. A full charge takes about an hour. Flashing light = charging, steady light = fully charged. Do not use it while connected to a network. If you see the light flashing while shaving, it means you have less than 15% battery charge. If anything goes wrong I have the company's excellent 5 year guarantee to fall back on. - Keep the blades pressed while greasing. DO NOT allow oil to spill back into the motor housing as permanent damage will result. And ugliness: - Some reviewers have indicated that they would like more detailed blade changing instructions. The attached instructions with two small diagrams are not very helpful. Always hold the razor in your hand with your thumb on the edge of the blade. With the other hand, grasp the underside of the blade to keep it from falling. Then gently push the blade away with your thumb. To reattach it, first insert the underside of the blade, then insert it back into the support.
