DISAPPOINTMENT After looking at several storage options for the 9.5 foot tree, I had high hopes for it. It's inexpensive and has a lot of space - probably too much. Here are the main reasons why I don't think it lives up to expectations: 1) This thing stinks! Good thing it's stored in the garage. It sat there for several days and the smell is still overwhelming. If my tree smells like a sack next year, I'll get angry. 2) It already has a hole in it. It seems that the material should be durable, but it isn't. Some quick research revealed that the 600D is usually made out of PVC. That rear end doesn't appear to be one that can contribute to the lack of power. 3) Pens are basically useless. The handle on the end is handy if you want to drag the bag across the floor (see #2 above), but the handles on the side are too long to use to carry the bag when there is wood in it (unless because, you happen to be about 8 feet tall). PLUS, be aware that a 9 foot tree isn't exactly light. The bag is quite heavy when filled with wood, making the prospect of using handles seem silly. At first I tried to put the bag upright in the box where I am in the garage - ended up trying to hug it. pocket to maneuver it. I could use better pens here. 4) Lightning is pretty light. It hasn't broken yet, but I don't expect it to last more than a few uses. I didn't deduct points for this, but note that this is a HUGE thing! How could it be bad? If you fill it up, it will become heavy (see #2 and #3). Since it's just a few pieces of fabric sewn together, it's up to you to make the tree sit nicely. Yes, there's plenty of room to stuff everything in, but it just seems random. My previous tree lived its entire life in its original packaging and I was able to put it back as it was originally packaged at the factory. This tree came to us without a box, so I don't have such an opportunity. CONCLUSION If you need to store some large and not too heavy items, this bag might be for you. I suggest you wash it and air it well before use. Seriously, this thing stinks. It definitely protects everything you put inside from dust and bugs. I wouldn't count on more.
