In my time of desperation, I was naturally disappointed by online cat shirt reviews. Nobody writes in reviews how big their cat is! There are only a few people who do that; I'll be another one for you to use as a better reference than the average review. So my cat had surgery and I had to protect the incision that runs from her armpit to her stomach. Tried one of those stretchy "recovery suits" that basically cover the whole body but allow for potty access. was too tight although he said it should fit her. I also think she hated including her hind legs in this invention. The material was also very thin, I understand it should breathe, but her tongue stuck to it so much when trying to woo. No wonder so many reviews mentioned that the material bleeds pretty quickly. After desperately trying to find a shirt with sleeves while she licked her armpit, I stumbled across it. Luckily there was a review on this item that mentioned that her 16 lb cat fits perfectly in XXL. As my cat is 12lbs I ordered both XL and XXL to see which fits best so that she can be as comfortable as possible. because she (and mom) had a tough week with Pinterest-inspired wrap ideas. I received the XL today, it wasn't easy dressing a cat fighting you but now that it's on it's much more agile than anything I've tried. The material is pleasant and has no foreign odors, but smells pleasantly clean. Your tongue won't stick to it like this other material and the sleeve length is perfect, I'll add a picture as that's exactly what I was looking for. (The sleeves are rolled up in one photo because it was easier to get my arm through) I don't think I should try XXL, also the neck opening gets bigger which is already a bit big for XL. So if you are trying to cover a wound or anything else on your chest, armpits or upper abdomen I would highly recommend this shirt.
