These are really great stools. Actually I was looking at my store for something that would support my back but be adjustable. My wife loves them so much we bought six more for our kitchen and replaced our wooden stools. Not only do they fit well but they are very stable and the back is flat which gives us more space on our island, even my 85 year old mother-in-law can get in and out of them and enjoys the back support. which actually have a lot of support, plus they look good and kinda match the stools my daughter and her husband put in their new home in Europe, that was really cool. LOL A big plus for us is that we have young grandkids who used to knock over our old 4 leg bar stools, they are much sturdier and much more adjustable just fine.
