What sets it apart from others is the fact that you can see through it. Fabric filters do not allow this. I can see my mic through it, which is pretty good. I feel a great connection to my microphone. Does it reduce both explosives and cloth screens? In my opinion, no they are not, but they are almost as reduced. The point where the flexible arm meets the filter seems solid enough. I wonder if the filter will hold up over time where I put it. The clamp works fine. If feeling more connected to your mic is important, I think this will work for you.
