So it's super cute and my 3 year old loves it so far (we only got it today). She got all scared of the dark thing. We explained that BunBan would watch over her at night, and she came up with the idea of reaching out and squeezing it to turn it on (in vibrate mode). Tonight she fell asleep with it in the dim light with no problem. However, the main disadvantage, which is a bit of a shame, is that it is very sensitive in vibration mode. That means it takes multiple rounds, low, high, to get it up to the right light level without immediately going to the next level. When she wears it, it keeps changing unless it's the strict one button. She has yet to find the right touch to raise her level and to be honest it's not easy for me either. Also, with a slightly rounded base, it wiggles a little when touched and thinks the wiggle is another touch, so it keeps spinning until it's completely still. A normal step next to the table he's standing on will cause him to move up a level. It will do the trick, but I think it would be better to have a specific place to touch (like just the globe) rather than a (very sharp) vibration sensitivity. But for the price it's great.
