Good size. The assembly was tricky because some components are pressed together. Poor packaging and very thin metal meant many of these parts had to be warped and bent back with pliers to fit. As for the size, if this were sold as a kids' organizer it would be perfect. When you hang adult shirts or pants on the bars, they hang over the bottom bar or shelf. There is no way to customize them. Another disadvantage of hangar poles is that the top pole is too close to the top shelf, making hanging and removing clothes difficult. .Conclusion: A great purchase for the children's room, but not for adults.
