Updated Jan 21 6:20 PM PT Sorry I sent the comforter back. I left him outside on our covered patio for four days and then brought him inside. It still smelled. I stretched it out in the reading corner for two more days. Still smells. Not that durable, but I can't keep it on my lap for more than a few seconds, let alone get it up to my chest or shoulders. I confess that I'm also a bit disappointed that the seller didn't respond. I can't tell if it's really hand knitted. If so, then I can not imagine the environmental conditions. Original Post // Jan 15, 2021 1:00pm PT. It's incredibly soft. I like the color (dark blue) BUT. When my husband took it out of the sealed plastic bag and put it on my lap. The strong chemical smell struck me immediately. I pushed him away and sent him outside with him. Will update when the smell disappears. But that smell makes me question the environment it was "hand knitted" in.
