I bought these as a sensory basket for my son in space school. I plan to add them to a bucket of black beads to make a starry night sky. They should work perfectly as they are the same size as the beads. Here's a photo of what came in a package with a quarter for size comparison. They are flat on the back, which I think is a good thing. They are used for many crafts and I am very satisfied. I do not recommend using these on young children unless you are with them as they can choke. Have fun!
