These stands break after a few uses. The handle, which is used to adjust the height of the lever, is connected to soft plastic that breaks easily, rendering the extension useless. This happened to me with both coasters less than a year after I bought two of them and only used small amounts. UPDATE: After I posted this initial review, the company contacted me and sent me a free replacement. So I can give credit to their customer service. We're just starting to use replacements, so we'll see if they're any better hinge-wise. If there is any sign of persistence I will update this review.
