The trousers seem to be sewn well. Thicker fabric so my daughter doesn't wear down her knees as easily. A bit big for the size 5T I bought. In any case, she has a hard time putting on pants; long legs but no hips and a thin waist. The length is good but the waist was a little big and baggy. I really like the denser and more durable fabric. Leggings are usually so thin that they last for several months before tearing holes in your knees. I think these pants will last you longer. Good quality.
