Bought a non-working Wine Enthusiast 28 bottle cooler cheaply. Internet research led me to the conclusion that the Peltier chip had failed. I disassembled the cooler module, took the chip number from the old chip and ordered this one, the chip with the exact number, but probably from a different manufacturer. This one already had flat terminals on the wires so assembly was easy. I bought thermal paste and assembled the module. I tested it to make sure I have a wine cooler and not a wine warmer after mounting the chip in the radiators. They can burn out quickly if operated without a heatsink. As I said above, the labeled side was the cold side. This is done without documentation, so it's important to know which side is which. The cooler works great. I highly recommend this, although I wish they at least included information on which side is which.
