As a live sound engineer working in the music and events industry, I've always had trouble finding headphones and other audio accessories that I'm happy with. what is right and what is wrong when hearing something. With that in mind, this review contains my honest opinion of these headphones, which overall are very good! As with most Anker products, the packaging is excellent and very well thought out with a classy matte black finish and simple graphics. The earbuds look very well built and are very small compared to my existing iEC wireless SHINE earbuds as you can see in the photos. The ANKER product also appears to be a little more durable as the area where the cable connects to the earcups appears to be more reinforced. The controls are simple, with independent volume buttons and a multifunction button in the center that turns the device on and off. off and on and activates Bluetooth pairing. There is a very small LED indicator on the back of the headset on the control side. In terms of sound quality, they are very impressive. Not as loud as my other set but the sound quality is much more impressive and stable. The low frequencies are most impressive, with a strong kick drum and excellent reproduction of subtype sounds, the mids are smooth and well-rounded, and the highs are very well balanced at almost any volume, to the point where the Device pauses music and plays beep to warn you of high volume. At this point the treble might be too loud, but then the device warns you that the volume is getting a little silly, so what can you expect. Feature wise they are not what you would call feature rich but they are very good at what they do. Most importantly, they offer a very impressive sound, a very secure fit and are almost half the size of many of their competitors. It's what you need most when you're looking for headphones to carry around and use in various events and sports.
