When I received the tube it was very light. When I opened it I realized it was because the tube was almost empty. The product has not been used (the neck of the tube was clean) but there was no mascara on the brush except for a small ball at the tip. Even after vigorous shaking, I had to wipe the tip on the inside of the tube and then try to run the brush over it to pick up some product. After several attempts, I managed to apply mascara to my eyelashes. There was a burning sensation when the brush came near my eye, but my eyes weren't watery or red; People with sensitive eyes may have a worse reaction. I found the mascara lengthening rather than voluminous (about half as much as YSL Faux Cils, my regular mascara). As mentioned, the formula is definitely waterproof. I had to use a cleansing oil to get rid of some of the carryover on my lids and the mascara lasted all day even when wet without flaking or smudging. All in all, if you don't have sensitive eyes, want more length than volume, and want a very waterproof formula, you'll probably love this product. IF there is more of it in the test tube than a small ball.
