I love this mascara. This is the perfect color for me. It's not lumpy, but it can be built. The model in the video on this product page shows the lower lashes slightly filled. Then, with the eyeliner already applied, a thin layer of mascara on the upper lashes looks great. Without liner, I apply a little more to the top lashes, placing the brush at the base and working back and forth to get a nice color that doesn't thicken at the tips of the lashes. That works great! I can curl my lashes before applying mascara. After that, my sparse lashes just stretch. The mascara washes out easily. I use baby oil, but you'll have success with other products that aren't as greasy. After that, I use a damp facial tissue and gently wipe away what's left on my lashes and, yes, my face by then. I used to use wet wipes but I'm disappointed that the ones I used before were much gentler on my skin. They are nowhere to be found, instead being replaced by sheets that scratch and do next to nothing to me. I gently wash my face before bed. I believe this product will replace all my other products at home. I have thicker mascaras but they tend to clump and too much product makes a mess. I also have thinner mascaras. This one is preferable because it doesn't flake or make a mess because my makeup can start to show color under my eyes. This is a great product that looks very natural when applied as I mentioned above. Excellent value for money and quality. Enjoy!
