I love these gloves and have mainly used them for car work. They are really thick and durable, which is my main criteria when it comes to car work gloves. I hate cheap, flimsy gloves that tear easily, usually at the worst possible moment. I used them when braking all 4 wheels on a Ford Super Duty truck which is pretty tough work. All the pieces are big and heavy and require a lot of force to remove them. The pair I used were dirty at the end of this job but still intact and could be reused for the next. I would probably use up 8 pairs of cheap flimsy gloves. So while these gloves are more expensive than cheap junk gloves, you make the difference in the lifespan of these gloves.
