To be honest I don't have any children. However, I came across this dress and fell in love with it, so I decided to buy it either for my daughter-to-be or for a friend. I chose white with blue leaves. The print is simple and not too obtrusive, like many other children's clothes. The material is very soft. As other reviewers have said, there are no washing instruction labels or anything. The "headband" is actually just a strip of the respective material. I think the good thing is you can adjust it to fit your kid's head, but the bad thing is you have to tie it yourself. And there was no way to tie it and make it look as pretty as the picture lol. All in all a soft and beautiful dress at a good price.
