bought for the beach. Bought ladies XL, girls 7-8 and boys 8-9. The fit seems perfect, the material is of good quality and the white background means there is minimal transparency. Women have cup inserts that help fight any transparency or just show too much detail. The girls have detachable shoulder straps that provide extra support when playing, but make them look like a mom for photos. Boys shorts are NOT shortboard as advertised. It's a close-fitting spandex that's more popular outside of the United States. Not a bad product just not what I expected and my son wouldn't wear it. Everyone liked the look and they felt very comfortable.
