Review on BAMEOS Stackable Storage Organizer Entryway by Mufti Carter

My product had 3 problems with it (not just 1). First, one of the pre-drilled screw holes was only about 2-3mm deep instead of deep enough for a screw. Which is a big problem when they're pan head socket head screws, meaning you can't drive them into undrilled wood. Second, one of the shelves was misaligned (they fold, which is an unnecessary point of potential product failure - just imagine if you had a random hinge installed on the underside of your desk that, when it breaks/bends, takes all of the table could fall to the ground in an accident). Combined with this misalignment, one of the screws holding the hinge was completely unusable as the hole it was in was overdrilled (or twisted) enough to allow the screw to slide in and out. Third (as if the first 2 weren't that bad) all of the included screws are very cheap and have metal defects making them very prone to breakage with moderate sideways pressure. Considering all 8 bolts are mounted horizontally and there is constant pressure every time you put your shoes on this rack, this seems like an incredibly bad decision.
