I ordered this light to use with our piano for my daughter. We were very happy with this purchase for the following reasons: a) adequately adjustable brightness b) adjustable color temperature c) enough degrees of freedom to fine-tune positioning d) great price. After (light) use for about 6 months. Just last week, when I made a slight adjustment to the position, I noticed that the plastic part of the stem where it attaches to the base was cracked. The location of the crack appears to be where more stress is likely to be present in the structure. I tried to glue it with superglue but it didn't help much i.e. tore again in the same place. Of course I was disappointed that it broke as we were otherwise very happy with the lamp and that it was another problem (finding/ordering a new lamp). Although I wouldn't normally bother, I decided to email the vendor outlining the problem. Roy was very quick, understood my problem/frustration and offered to send me a replacement immediately. Received the replacement the next day. I am very happy with the customer service. I would highly recommend this light and the customer service. By the way, this is my first product review. I don't normally write reviews even though I've been shopping on Amazon for the past 18 years!
