I've had my latest Speidel Twist-O-Flex watch strap for over 30 years. The gilding on it is completely worn away. This is a very comfortable band that is easy to put on and take off. More importantly, when you hang the strap on something, its flexibility greatly reduces the chance of the pins detaching from the watch case, which often destroys watches with plastic connection points. I hope the black plating on this new strap is as durable as the gold plating on the last one. Note: if you're a little forgiving you can remove segments from the tape to change the length, although no instructions were included for this. This is done by folding the tabs along the edges of adjacent segments and then pulling out the fasteners. Then you can assemble it and bend the tongues.
