okay. this light exists. Big. You can't fine-tune the "full light" setting, but the standard 5-level brightness setting is fine. As for safety, I don't know. Support is weak to the point of shame. The entire weight of the flashlight is carried by two very small (1mm*3mm?) plastic tabs! When I first installed this I installed a lantern with a support on the short side as shown in the product listing. I woke up and found an extreme angle lamp in the tank. Thank goodness the plants and hob were there and the water level was low because the tabs broke overnight! What would happen if he fell into the tank? Electrocuted fish? electric fire? I was able to "fix" it by using a toothpick in the top rail between the lamp frame and bracket to ensure proper tension/friction? so that all of this can support the weight of the lamp itself, which is heavier than I expected. Not a bad thing, just wish the mount was stronger so it could work as advertised. A much smaller complaint is that the "M" color settings are broken. I've attached a time-lapse video showing certain colors turning on white LEDs next to them, not just that color. this occurs during manual scrolling and also during rotation color adjustment. It seems bright enough to grow my plants and the default color is a very cool white (6500K?) giving an even light. So if you want pulsating light, this may not work. To you. Design flaws/security issues aside, this seems like a decent light.π€·πΌββοΈ
