I'm about 5ft 4", 170, I usually wear a size L pants/dress. I got this a size L to wear with a swimsuit and it's perfect - roomy even! But spacious without appearing old-fashioned. I have it in black and it's cute enough to wear as a dress and not just as a cover up. Nice, light, thin material for hot summer or beach days, but not at all see-through in this color. The detailing on the sleeves is a nice touch to stand out from the usual cover-up look. It's so flattering I'm back now and ordering blue.
