PRO small, USBCONFully charged and then used, in less than 5-10 minutes the battery will be half discharged. We tried testing it indoors and on sleeping kids just to see how long the battery lasts. Didn't take 30 minutes. We finally got it working on the iPad and this is an example. You'll have to figure it all out yourself, there were features we had to learn, not from a small instruction booklet. OTHER NOTES The software appears to be made for an Android phone, not an iPad. The features to change etc. were easy to see in our phone compared to when we finally (after a while) got it working on the iPad where we originally intended to use it for bird watching outside the window for our kids to see how they throw the birds off the feeder when they start waving their arms. I don't know if it's for or against, if someone takes advantage of this and doesn't want to be noticed, the red flashing light on the gadget can be turned off from the phone. So we tried using it on concurrent gadgets, it worked. As soon as you change the setting on one (e.g. flip the screen), this happens for all screens.
