We bought this as a last minute dress change for a big event - my daughter decided that she wanted to wear a suit rather than a dress. Took her measurements and her hips measured at the top of the large but not big enough for the XL. We bought the large, kept our fingers crossed and waited … and it could not have fit her more perfect! There does seem to be some stretch so there was room in the rear if she would have needed it. She’s 5’7 and she wore Doc Martens - the length was perfect. The waistcoat fit perfect as did the jacket and it looked very slick with a fitted button down shirt. Lots of compliments and she walked with confidence both with the jacket on and off. I’ll admit I didn’t expect it to be such a good quality suit, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a well made suit for the price and the fact I got it in two days was a bonus! My advice is to take the measurements - chest, waist and hip and go from there.
