Having used clips on the phone vents to prevent air from getting into the vents I thought this would be a great way to get the phone out of the way but still got it attached to the ventilation openings. Great purchase and does a great job of keeping the phone working and where I can see it. The magnet holds the phone perfectly, although it's more stable in landscape mode. The only problem with this product is that it doesn't work particularly well in cars with a single horizontal air outlet like the 2019 Toyota Corolla. My solution to the problem was to take some rubber and glue it to the bottom of the clip. The rubber provides grip by filling the gap between the clip and the bottom of the vent.
