Well made knitted ear cap, be careful metal trimmings are falling apart

Bought as a gift for a horse lover. It's beautiful and well made, and doesn't require a cord to be tied around the horse's head, but it stays in place even when the bride wears it. It fitted perfectly, however the metal part with the stones fell apart in less than an hour's drive. She only got 4 starts because of that, but the hat is ok without decoration as we only used it for training and not for the show!
