Review on πŸ“± Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Galaxy Tab S7 Case with S Pen Holder (2020) - Black - Ultimate Protection by Jeffrey Crutcher

Does what I need, feels secure, looks good

Writing this review with a caveat, Revain is inundated with cases and covers available for people not spending money on a device manufacturer are always overpriced, but there are some very reputable and well-known solid "names" that simply choose to ignore Android devices. This makes consistent quality and design almost impossible! I bought the Samsung Book Cover for my Galaxy Tab S7 at the same time as the tablet. Starting with the S6 I was shocked to realize how much I hated the cover art for the S7. It's been 30 days since I thought I should send it back and you guessed it, they didn't take it back. In the meantime I have ordered two cases, which revealed their differences both to each other and to the Samsung case at the beginning of their use. Neither made me happy or easy and convenient to use my tablet. A few months later I decided to try the Folio style, unfortunately the one I chose only came with a wireless keyboard. Okay, I said don't use it, just want the cover. Came, hated fit, sent back. I started coming back to cases that I'd reviewed many times but were turned down because they looked too "hardcore tuff." As a result, I chose Spigen Rugged Armor Pro again. Now this is a case well made! The "Tuff" wasn't bulky and/or heavy, and I was surprised at how light it seemed. It was just a bit scary putting the tablet in, I almost thought maybe they sent me the wrong one, finally got the last corner and everything is perfect. What finally made me choose this case is the S Pen holder! Of all the stupid things Samsung did, what was even worse was that it didn't do anything to protect the S Pen when the user was using the tablet as a book reader. I always nudge it from behind or from its middle corner, I just put the handle out of the way so it's out of the way and safe. It's also a great way to lose it, but Spigen's case has this nifty detachable cover as part of the case, keeping it safe in the right charging position and allowing for easy access when needed. The feeling is much richer than all fakes. Leather sheath, handle is secure, tri-fold is ideal for holding at an angle while reading or for other purposes. It all fits in the tablet floor stand I already have without having to remove the case. All cutouts are accurate including the power/fingerprint hole. So we're off to a good start! Time will tell if it is easy to clean and maintain with normal use. Now for the only downsides: 1. The tight fit can be intimidating for some, I don't expect to have to take it off my tablet, 2. There are no color choices at all, black is the best! Spigen, you have a winner here, so how about Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Gray! Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
