Batteries for home use. for use during a power outage, which often happens in California, when I'm having a BBQ after dark, when I'm rummaging through computer cables under my desk in the dark, when I'm lighting a workbench on a drill, etc. I actually prefer not to read in bed ! Issues for me are good bright even light with long battery life, lithium ion batteries chargeable with existing 5V USB chargers, very flexible and positionable lamp head that stays in place where you point it, do -it-yourself installation and ideally with a magnetic mount for my grill and drill press use. Miady ticks all of these boxes except for the last two and is the best I've found. Much better than my existing grill lamp. Miady is really great! So what have I done? I bought two, cut off the support clips and installed the magnetic strips (DIMAGStrong Strong Neodymium Rectangular Pot Magnets with Counter Bore & Mounting Screws – 60x13.5x5mm, Pack of 8) on the bottom. Now the lamp works great. The excellent performance of the Miady lamp (brightness, flexibility, lighting, battery life and charging) and it stands on its own and sticks to magnetic surfaces. PERFECT!
